I have been successfully working with clients for weight management for over 6 years, the last 4 of which have been working with Virtual Gastric Band, or VGB. This system employs techniques that enable you to create new habits, eat consciously and learn to listen to your body and recognize the messages it is giving you.

I am thrilled to have been awarded the Burlington Post Readers’ Choice Diamond Award this year in Weight Control Systems (last year I was awarded Platinum). With our world having been turned on it’s head over the past few months, I wanted to be able to offer my clients a way of looking after themselves, even though face to face appointments aren’t happening at the moment. Thus, this group online program was born!

All the Details...

  • The program is run over a 4-week period and sessions will run for roughly one hour.  
  • Once you sign up for the program, I will send you some materials that will help you prepare for the sessions.  
  • In addition to being taken into hypnosis, each session will consist of some group discussion and strategies to ensure success.
  • You will be given a hypnosis recording after the first session and you will be required to listen to the recording daily.
  • Throughout the program I will be available should you require any  support.

The short answer is yes.  We all go in and out of hypnosis multiple times a day without even realizing it.  Ever driven a familiar route and suddenly realize you don’t remember the last 10 minutes of the drive?  You were in a state of hypnosis.

No, and no!  You are in complete control at all times and are aware of everything that is happening.  You will never do anything that goes against your moral compass.

Hypnosis is a very relaxed and natural state and can feel just the way you feel before you drift off to sleep.

While hypnosis is a very relaxed state in which your body and mind are completely relaxed, it is not sleep.  You are aware of what is happening, you simply have a narrowed focus.
