How About Those New Years Resolutions?

New Year’s resolutions are a time-honoured tradition, but let’s face it, they have the potential to add stress to our already stressful lives, especially when we struggle to maintain the motivation to stay on track. We all start the year off with great intentions and promises to ourselves that this year will be different. Then before you know it, you’re back to your old ways, eating that extra slice of pizza, skipping the gym, having just one more cigarette, one more drink…

You get it. But don’t despair just yet, there is a secret weapon that can help you stick to your resolutions: hypnosis!

That’s right, hypnosis. Hypnosis is not just for stage performers, and making people cluck like a chicken; it’s a powerful tool that can help you overcome those unwanted habits, form new ones, and achieve your goals.

During hypnosis, the subconscious mind becomes more open to positive suggestions and new ways of thinking. So, whether you’re trying to quit smoking, lose weight, or save money, hypnosis can help you get there.

Hypnosis can also be used to help you develop a stronger sense of willpower and self-discipline. By suggesting that you are confident and determined, a hypnotherapist can help you to overcome feelings of doubt and lack of motivation, making it easier to stick to your goals and achieve success.

Another way hypnosis can help with New Year’s resolutions is by addressing any underlying emotional issues that may be holding you back. For example, if you’re trying to save money but always find yourself overspending, it could be that you’re using shopping as a way of coping with stress and anxiety. A hypnotherapist can help you identify those underlying issues and develop healthier ways of coping.

It’s important to note that hypnosis is not a magic solution, and it doesn’t work for everyone, especially if you are not fully committed to making the changes you are seeking help with. Many people however, do find hypnosis to be very helpful.  Hypnosis is a powerful tool that can help you to overcome bad habits, form new ones, and achieve your goals. If you’re having trouble sticking to your New Year’s resolutions, it may be worth exploring hypnosis as a way to get back on track. With the help of a qualified hypnotherapist, you can tap into the power of your subconscious mind and make lasting changes.

When seeking out a hypnotherapist, please ensure that you find a qualified therapist to work with, ensuring they have received the proper training or accreditation through a reputable agency, such as ARCH (Association of Registered Clinical Hypnotherapists) Canada.
